I came up with this in 1991 as some sort of attempt at a hybrid fusion of some sort. It's kind of laid back.

Muttface is always looking for musicians!! We are looking for all drummers who can go from metal to blues to jazz to all degrees of rock and anywhere else the rhythmic situation calls for. And, we are hoping to locate a well skilled bass player who can rock, boogie, pulse, shred, groove, jam in the pocket and find time to enhance the melodic content and harmonic flow of the music.

Story behind the song
I just wanted to make something up that was outside of my familiar realm of music, so I could have some new stiff to draw on for the inspiration for my phrasing and note choices when I improvised solos. This recording was played in two takes in early 2004 the drummer and I playing together for the first take and then I took a shot at playing a solo over it right after we did the rhythm track.
