The "Dejavoodoo 3" consisting of frontman CC Stewart on guitar, Ernie Terrell - bass, and Larry Chambers -drums, is an explosive power trio and vocal group out of Des Moines IA. This band features 3 of Iowa's best kept secrets in talent, as well as 3 very prominent and experienced working musicians in the Des Moines scene. They are not to be mistaken with the name "Dejavoodoo" or "Deja Voodoo". Their name is clearly "Deja Voodoo 3" They're a powerhouse trio, that centers around blues and blues rock as well as being dynamic in variety... Their playing is innovative. They are unique and stand alone. They are genuine in their talent. They love what they do and it certianly shows onstage. The Dejavoodoo 3 came together by hosting open jams at one of Des Moines oldest bars every Sunday night... With each member of the band bringing vocals to the table...It wasnt long before their harmonies had them thinking in the same direction. If you catch them in their on element, you'll find them following in the footsteps of axeslingers SRV, Albert King, Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Junior Wells. What makes this band very unique is that they often play outside their element - and well, to say the least. Hosting two open jams a week can build up quite a repetoire for any band. This band covers the spectrum if called upon. With the ability to cover Whitesnake to Johnny Cash - they're quite comfortable walking into any unknown venue. "We're a crowd pleaser." says frontman CC Stewart, "But once we got ya - that's when we hit you with our stuff! We're just now laying down our originals but we look at our covers as an artistry as well. I would say without a doubt, the Dejavoodoo 3 has a creative element in our sound. We listen to eachother and play off of eachother's moods and ideas. We might find several different ways to perform a song. Ernie may lay down a different feel, even if suttle..and Larry will compliment that everytime. It makes for magic. If I'm up their having a ball every night - imagine how much fun our crowds have!"
