There was a time. A time I'd like to forget. When I was young and easily upset. And all the world around me felt like broken glass. And all this shit around me, please, let it pass. It was around my sophomore year when I would walk the halls in fear. And I'd hear the jeers of growing up fat. And even feeling it today that I am judged by that. I take the pain with me today and I still can hear the words they say. Oh no! Here it comes. They're calling out the fat kid. Back in high school, kids could be so cruel. But they're not alone, I played my part, too. But every time I think back on those days. The truth of what was said is what always remains. So I guess that i should just leave it all behind. And finally get me some peace of mind. But there's still just one thing that I've yet to see. When will that day come when I'm just o.k. with me? I take the pain with me today and I still can hear the words they say. Oh no! Here it comes. They're calling out the fat kid.
