It's Not Over Yet
It's come to my attention
Our morals aren't right
A drive to greed
Brings pain and death
Why don't we treat
suburbia like
The forests that we burn?
All the time
Always fooled
Can't begin to find the truth
Never see
Forever blind
Ignorant to the outside world
Monster trucks roll by
Gas consumed every day
Money's thrown away
On things we don't need
The poor are cold tonight
Children will starve
And no one seems to care
Bring me into the light
Show me a glimmer of hope
We need a reason to believe
It's not over yet
Tell me we have a purpose
