New site, new sound, new demo, new line-up, new choice of fruity flavours...welcome to the all new sound of In Pain Die. We take our influences from a wide and varied group of music, ranging from death metal encompassing all forms of metal through to other genres of music that you might not neccesarily associate with a metal band, we believe in a way our music is a form of escapism in the same way someone might like to read sci-fi or other fictional novels, having said that if we want to there is nothing stopping us from touching on everyday issues that effect people in everyday life. We decideed from the start that groove and rhythm would play an important part in our music as we figured that theres a lot of bands playing technical stuff which might well be admired by other musicians but the average person probably isnt going to be overly impressed by a technically outstanding piece of guitar or drumming, again if we decide a song would benefit from a technical fill we can put one in, the overall focus is on slamming grooves though. Production is something we want to focus on as well to give people the chance to hear us as we want to sound we have played all manner of gigs and with inconsistent p.a. systems or sound engineers who dont know us we can end up sounding like a different band, so for these next releases production will be a key topic to help us deliver our music. In the pipeline weve got this new album being written as your reading this!! It's title is "Where My Allegiance Lies" and promises to be the heaviest thing out of camp ipd to date, to quote Ant (Bass and Vocals) the new sound we are aiming for is "groove laden death metal mixed with newer stuff like Lamb of God and Stampin' Ground". In the meantime you can check out our all new demo/Ep "Digital Relic" which is a sampler of things to come on the upcoming album..but by now means the tip of the iceberg...get ready!!!
