The band consists of me, my guitar, my synth and my PC.
Originally from Jupiter, I have been trapped in a human body for forty five of your Earth years now and to pass the time whilst awaiting rescue, I make music with some of your primitive technology. I am also known as The Shed Man but that's another story...

Story behind the song
The original instrumental was written during a period of great sadness when my best friend, my dog Charlie, passed away and it appears on this page under the title of 'Dreams Of The Sleeping Dog'. Margot had written some lyrics about her sadness at the impending cull of wild birds as a result of the avian flu scare and asked if she could sing them to my music. Knowing what an awesome voice she has, I couldn't say no and I'm glad I didn't. Have a listen and judge for yourself.
Lyrics
SILENT SPRING I`m woken in the morning.. To the sound of their sweet song... There, outside my window.... Little sparrows hop along... How could they be so stupid... To let it end this way... I can`t imagine a more sorrowful thing... Than a silent April and May... I want my children`s children... To hear that sweetest of sounds... Don`t want it to be a memory... On a cd to be found... A treasure that`s god given... Sweeter than anything... Oh please, my brothers and sisters... Help keep us from a silent spring... keep us from a silent spring... © 2006 M. Du Bois
