You can fly forever if you conquer time.
On this site we have the 8 songs which make up the Crap Art album, where I wrote and recorded all 8 on March 31, 2004. The rules for the project and other examples can be found at the . However, I tried to make these songs as uncrappy as I could in the course of a day, and I think I succeeded for the most part.

Story behind the song
Thax Douglas is a poet from the Chicago who writes about bands and introduces them at shows. I thought that, since he's written so many poems about musicians, a musician should write a song about him, so I whipped out some lyrics in the library of Columbia College (my alma mater in mind body and soul, in part and in whole). When I went to catch an El train later that day en route to a Wrens concert, who should walk onto the platform and sit right next to me but Mr. Douglas himself? I didn't tell him about the song (how creepy would that be? "You don't know me but I wrote a song about you"), but we did have a brief conversation and we met up a little later at the show.
Lyrics
when you're falling from a building you don't need to be scared you're falling but not dropping you're floating in midair suspended in a timewarp you will find an inner peace if your sense of normal physics is released gravity is superseded by the human mind and if you close your eyes right now you'll find that you can fly forever if you conquer time immortality's not that hard all you need to do is create a word said in a theater will always reverberate the words may fade from memory but forever are impressed they stay inside the crowd's subconsciousness they soak into the walls they are embedded in the stairs you're gone before they knew that you were there but for a time you floated on the air
