I was born into this world Leon Christopher Saunders. I’ve been a writer since I could pick up a pen. I was always told I see things differently. I don’t know if it’s because of the way I came up, or the way that I chose to think about things. Regardless, what I see is what becomes me. I’ve always loved hip hop. It was poetry to me. Survival. Sanity in some form. I never saw this as something I would end up doing. It chose me in that sense. I get shivers when I step to the mic, it’s creating art out of my existence. Everything I write is something that has affected me in some way. I never choose to write, it comes to me. My drive to perfect what I say and how I say it is my motivation for my music. It’s a growth process, like coming to grips with who I am. Since that never stops, neither will I. Neither will MasterMyndz. Respect is what matters to me the most. Whether people feel me or not is up to them. So even if you don’t like what I do or how I do, respect it. Respect it as if it was your own interpretation of the world. 1
