My wife sometimes grabs a cassette I have laying around with music ideas on them. She found this little piece of music on a tape and wrote the lyric & melody for it. She popped the tape in while driving in the car one day, I had no idea what she was doing. I wanted to laugh at what she was saying but it was so catchy so unique and fit so well I just loved it. We through it down quick to 8 track tape which is what your hearing.
Merlin was the name of our Iguana which is all she wanted in the first place. The song and our imaginary band "Merlins Wood" was something we continue to do for fun for the both of us. Our own virtual band.. Kinda lets us do things musically we might not normally do, like being someone else. It works!
Lyrics
Lizard tongue in your ear
Walk the walk talk the talk
Over hear lizard tongue
(She likes the way he runs)
She likes the way he runs to her (lizard tongue)
She likes the way he comes to her (lizard tongue)
He likes to use his tongue
Lizard tongue in her ear
Walk the walk, talk the talk
Over here lizard tongue
Lizard tongue over here
Whips it out then it disappears
Ooh that lizard tongue
I want an Iguana
