Lyrics
Real Men Don't Cry © 2002 Dawn Kenealy When I told you I'm lonely, don't believe that you love me. And I'm ready to walk out the door. How could you just stand there with that cold vacant look? Saying you've heard all this before. They say real men don't cry, but I don't believe it. A real man would be down on his knees. If he realized that I, I was really leaving. A real man would cry, if he really loved me. Now it's almost over, my taxi is waiting. And I have done all I can do. This is the last time, I've cried myself out. And I still feel nothing from you. They say real men don't cry, but I don't believe it. A real man would be down on his knees. If he realized that I, I was really leaving. A real man would cry, if he really loved me. Don't think 'cause you come home each night, That should show your devotion. Look in my eyes, and show me some real emotion. They say real men don't cry, but I don't believe it. A real man would be down on his knees. If he saw his whole world, packing up and leaving. A real man would cry, if he really loved me

This is my second favorite song after "Somebody's Day Was Worse". I just love this song as it has that classic country feel that I grew up on, so it seems very familiar. I love the chorus: "They say real men don't cry....but I don't believe it." That set-up the lesson of the song right there, and it's also how I feel, so more power to this song!!
