Country Music, Songwriter.
Hi, welcome to my music. I've been around a few years now, writing and playing a mixture of styles, from regga to rock and soul to blues.. But whenever I'm just relaxing I find myself listerning to alot of country music and over the years have attempted to write a few country tunes myself. So seeing that time is getting on I thought I should put some of theses ideas together and see what others make of them. I welcome honesty and I don't mind the truth, so any feed back would be welcomed if you could spare the time. some of the songs will just be me and maybe a friend or two helping out with the vocals, so don't expect too much, but please let me know what you think. Having said that, my two songs which have been up for a while have just been studio demo'd. So I take great pleasure in presenting them here. A big thank-you to Mike Mclaughlin at MJM Music Group: www.mjmmusicgroup.com for pulling it all together and turning it around so quickly. And another big thank-you to Kurt & Debrann Johnson for singing and playing so beautifully on the Demos. Thanking you for taking time out to listen.

Story behind the song
This song has been hanging around for quite some time. Written for a friend who had just about every kind of bad luck come her way. Right in the midst of all the anguish when things were at their toughest, we'd get together and after an hour or two we'd start making each other laugh, and by the end of the evening she felt able to cope with another day, knowing that sometimes you've just got to have faith... There's always Grace.
Lyrics
Sweeter Tears. Verse 1 Now there’s a purpose to this game of life, A lesson somewhere to be found. Amidst the tears and pain, for all that’s lost there’s something gained. A longing to be homeward bound. A longing to be once more homeward bound. Chorus: You’ve got to cry for laughing and trust it all works out. Cos bitter tears don’t end those years of uncertain doubt. You’ve got to cry for laughing and wash away those fears, Cos crying in the name of love are by far the sweeter tears, Cos crying in the name of love are by far the sweeter tears. Mid 8: Tonight is all I’ve got to spend with you, Take my hand and see me through. Verse 2 Now when you look into those eyes of love, You find the strength to get back home. And in those eyes of love you find that there’s more than enough, The grace that now you’ll never be alone, At last this grace has come to take you home. Cos crying in the name of love are by far the sweeter tears.
