The Wizard of Oz meets Christian Barnard, M.D.
good without one politica
Artist picture
liberal ranting and raving, but sensitive explorations of the current American malaise
Good Without One was a drummerless and mercifully leaderless rock trio performing off the track and often humorous, often political originals and originally arranged covers. The players are George Potor, guitar and vocals, Joe DeCristopher, guitar and vocals, and Rick Totten, bass and vocals. These folks have played together in different contexts for decades, but only as this particular trio from 2003 - 2008. While the level of musicianship is high, their disdain for the trappings of rock stardom is legendary. Two of the members even remained seated throughout performances, despite no obvious physical impairments. Their drummerless approach was a novel but occasionally successful scam to get electric instruments into acoustic venues.

Story behind the song
Barney, be careful what you wish for!
Lyrics
VERSE 1: We’re best with bowels of straw, But now we scare no more. We think but we can not feel; We choreograph for real. Rusted robots, acid rain; Your brain is where my heart is, Your brain is too big for your head, for your head. VERSE 2: Your plastic flesh is wire-meshed; Your plastic flesh is firm and fresh. No bloody dress in Dallas, No need to raise the chalice; We’re all martyrs yet today. Your brain is where my heart is, Your brain is too big for your head, for your head. VERSE 3: All limbs must get bionic; Intestines grown hydroponic. Our eyes will see infra-red; We’ll be built instead of bred. When we come, we come to stay. Your brain is where my heart is, Your brain is too big for your, brain is too big for your, Brain is too big for your head, for your head.
