Story behind the song
This is Part I... I didn't want to split these up, but alas, I had to thanks to it being 10.4 mb. Oh well, such is the way of life. Now, on topic... I really wanted to write a dark song, that almost seemed like a lullabye. It comes across as a gothic style song... very elegant in the beginning with an almost "music-box" quality. However, I add some percussion and a harpsichord, then the fun continues on to Part II. My main influences would be a mix between Dream Theater, Voltaire, and Switchblade Symphony.
