Story behind the song
Incredibly, Mike Mills (not of REM but equally sleepy) and I spent more time recording this song than the Beatles spent on Sgt. Pepper. Of course, that's one difference between The Beatles and us. Mike sang backups, played keys and did the drum programming as well as most of the knob twiddling, Jamie Koppersmith sang lead and I played bass, guitar and did some backups as well.
