Hi I am a singer songwriter from Sydney Nova Scotia.I live on the beautiful Island of Cape Breton.For those of you who don't know where this is, It is on the east coast of Canada. I enjoy many styles of music from country to pop Celtic to folk.Mostly I play on my own for various events within my community.but I have been fortunate to share the stage with some of cape Bretons favorite performers such as Bobby Lewis (Carlton Show Band) , The Back In Time band with Joe Rankin.and many others. I have performed on stage at the Savoy theater and on Stage at Centre 200 ,The Louisburge Playhouse and many other venues throughout Cape Breton. Story behind the song

As I stood inline at the local bank an old friend happened to be in front of me in the line and as we spoke he told me of how he was getting ready to travel back out to Fort McMurray to go to work, Not being able to find any work here on Cape Breton he said that this was his only alternative He told me about all the people from down east that were working out west and laughing he said there were more Eastern men then western man. The words Eastern Man stuck in my head for quite awhile and from his words I wrote this song.
