I have been mixing sounds for about a year and a half now. Though, I am still not very good, I admit... However, I am here to share something that I love and perhaps maybe take your ears and your mind on a journey to someplace they've never been. I am also on MySpace Music. Feel free to add me! http://www.myspace.com/transcendentalmusic

Story behind the song
This is the second part of the epic. Like it says, the feeling is one of regression... like the storm has passed. However, just a hurricane, the second half of the storm is usually more ferocious. I increase the tempo once more to get a heightened sense of suspense. Then, I let the edgy strings and pounding percussion do their thing. Then, the song gradually slows down. The song should leave you (if played all the way through) with a sense of refreshment, however a wee bit out of breath. That's what it does to me, anyways! *laughs* I really drew out the ending because I love those chords the clarinet and flute section has... I drew it out, so that you could feel yourself sway to the short melody. So simple and so short, yet so meaningful; not to mention powerful. It gets to be so slow that... it almost sends you to sleep... hence, Lullabye vom Sturm... "Lullabye of the Storm".
