The medium rulers of the world when it comes to its behaviour and frame of mind are the medias. Media Stupid Fella may sound a little bit harsh as a title, but what do TV, papers and all other medias have to offer these days? They don’t seem to have the distance they should have towards their subject, just taking the easiest route to the best ratings with whatever program they can come up with to turn the masses into a bunch of voyeuristic idiots. When attacked on this, their justification will be to say that this is what the audience wants, entertainment. But does entertaining audiences necessarily mean dumbing them down? New opium of the people, and target of all critics for its lack of integrity and independence.
