Story behind the song
The next sequence of songs is my "San Diego Suite." I can DL songs faster and Soulseek is now THE PLACE to get mp3s so I look for obscure MP3 albums as well. I sample more foreign sounds like Reggae and Afrobeat for their uses of percussion and different rhythms, textures. I try to program drums to sound like they were being played on a set or a looped break. I also started to work with the newer, more improved Acid 4.0 for my new PC and abandoned 2.0 Pro. I got into compressing and EQing stuff with new studio headphones, too.
