In the current day of "nu-metal" and "grind metal", DragonLips take us back in retrospect to the beginnings of mainstream metal. Music inspired by metal pioneers like Metallica and Pantera, while still influenced by more recents acts like Sevendust and Machine Head. This music is created to be larger than life, with loud vocals and guitars, edgy riffs and thunderous drums.

Story behind the song
The track was inspired by self reflection on personal accomplishments, things unfulfilled, and things undone and unsaid. Lyrically,I was looking to capture that internal conflict between the part of you that wants to keep things status quo, while other half of you may be starved from what it needs. A lot of it revolves around personal pursuit of passions, and the ambition to turn dreams to reality.
