Story behind the song
We wrote this song mainly for people that were taken from this life too soon. We had a buddy that was killed last year on New year's eve in a drunk driving accident... he had a mile of friends.

It was a rainy cold September day, Amazing Grace was sung. At a funeral for my good friend, that lost the battle way too young. As we climbed into the car that day, i put it into drive. I looked up at the tailights, i could not believe my eyes, Well you know he made alot of people hayy, He'd loan you his last dollar, when it wasn't there to lend, When it comes down to it, and my life comes to an end, I hope that i can have....a mile of friends. I went back to work that afternoon, i had a change of heart. Things i put off till tomorrow, now i think it's time to start.
