Lyrics
THE MAN IN ME Last night my heart skipped a beat When we met downtown on main street I tried to look all cool and bright Guess it made me look quite a sight ..... Though my smile wouldn't play My eyes still gave the game away And even my pride couldn't hide The longing I felt inside OH GIRL THERE'S NO TELLING WHY THIS SHOULD BE BUT SOMEHOW YOU WAKE THE MAN IN ME CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR SETTING FREE THE MAN IN ME I COULDN'T SEE I fought my heart and won each night But right now I'm loosing the fight All my fears have now gone In my loss my heart has won ..... I'll climb each mountain I see And bridge each pass in between But won't rush the games lovers play Love grows best when a touch way OH GIRL THERE'S NO TELLING WHY THIS SHOULD BE BUT SOMEHOW YOU WAKE THE MAN IN ME CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR SETTING FREE THE MAN IN ME I COULDN'T SEE i've always been a rambling guy who followed any path that called but now you've taught my roaming heart how to stop and make a brand new start OH GIRL THERE'S NO TELLING WHY THIS SHOULD BE BUT SOMEHOW YOU WAKE THE MAN IN ME CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR SETTING FREE THE MAN IN ME I COULDN'T SEE .......... " ............. .......... " ............. (C) 2003 Jan Johansen/Randy Thorderson
