Lyrics
In The Arms Of Henry?s Love ©James Gordon 2005 It was Henry that taught us that the soil all around Is nurtured when a big tree falls. And in that cycle of life that he lived to the fullest Falling?s just a part of it all. Roots run deep, branches spread far There?s so much that lives on. We?ll find comfort in his shade, hear his leaves in a breeze Long after Henry is gone. Let?s water a smile with our tears It?ll grow to be as big and as strong as his hug. You can?t measure how much we?ve all grown safely wrapped in the arms of Henry?s love. Henry has gone up ahead just a little to mark a new trail in the forest He?s sowing seeds, planting courage and hope Making everything beautiful for us Henry?s last journey?s not one of his choosing But he?s walked it with wisdom and grace And like all of his walks, his light footprint Made sure that he left this a finer place.
