I'm an emcee from Oak Park, just west of Chicago. I'm 19 goin on 20 and a junior at Illinois State University (Normal, IL). I produce all my instrumentals, I take my writing very seriously, and I beatbox (THA FIFTH ELEMENT!) Story behind the song
I cooked up this instrumental and it just had this vibe to it and once I got to writing I found I was writing in a kind of down trodden tone, and we decided to write about life. You'll notice ryan's verses are more up and mine are a lil more down, and it gives the track a nice polarity.
