Hi to all. I've been playing for allot of years now. Have been in bands and frankly don't like the playing out thing much anymore, getting to old to pack all the gear and haul it around I quess. Recently I was a member of a three piece group posted as High Plains. Great music and great guys, but with the playing out thing and other more pressing issues decided it was time to sit back and just do what I love best, create the type of music I love best.

Story behind the song
Well, I lost one of my best freinds a couple years ago, my dad. As time goes on the memories fade and I found myself fighting to remember his face, also there's a great line in Steven Kings Gunslinger books " you've forgotten your fathers face" This ment allot to me. Another thought from a line in Peter Pan came " I'll always be there in that split second between Twilight and morning". Two fantastic thoughts which just about explain the whole song.
Lyrics
When the moon shines bright, and my dreams entertain the night I see your face, right beside me When the night grows long, and my visions seem to go wrong. I feel at ease, cause you’re here with me Floating through the night, in the vast twilight Sailing through my dreams, it seems Visions from my past, never seem to last As a new dawn stands before me As the stars slip by, and the sunrise blinds my eye’s You’ll live with me, in my twilights dream Facing the days, trying to learn to pray But never quit finding the words For it’s hard to describe, what hurts inside And at times seems so absurd But when the moon turns bright and my ghosts entertain the night I feel your strength, living in me. As the sunlit skies, cast their shadows on my eye’s And the mornings light, drives away the night And my dreams they fade as I face the lonely day Oh I wish to be, in a twilights dream Been fighting the pain each and every day For I have forgotten my fathers face And the pain they say it will fade away And vanish with no trace But your memories live, and the gifts you give remain Oh you’ll always be, in my twilights dream
