In the words of James Taylor, It's me and my guitar. Always in the same mood! Then again, maybe my guitar is just humoring me - sigh -
Just me, I'm an old Folksinger that still plays out once in a blue moon. Thank you for listening to my primitive acoustic songs. I am a retired Army Bandsman, a certified Wall Wacker, and am currently a teacher. Next time I retire I am going back into Folksinging. It's the perfect occupation really, no hope of fame and fortune and definately keeps me humble. Folksinging just naturally makes me a better person I s'pose.

Story behind the song
I realized that the mental picture of a dear friend was getting blurry. This is about that.
Lyrics
A Dream (That I can only claim) Charles W - T Consaul 1. You were my love for a very short time For a little while you were real But you left me with nothing but memories And nothing I could touch and feel You may tellme that I am a simple child And I haven't the right to complain But you're fading from the comfort Of my reality And becoming a dream again C: Just another story I made up in my head To calm my body's lonely pain Just a cold piece of cloud in a clear blue sky That is tired and worn after the rain I wish that I'd known you a little more Because I'll never get to know you again You're changing from a woman That I really could have held Into a dream that I can only claim 2. I remember as we talked All the words seemed right And the moments were glittering and gold There must have been a time When we were less than in love But then the memory never took hold There must have been a time When I was sad and blue We were lonely sometimes now it seems But those moments are gone With the sand and the storm Blown around in the maze of my dreams Chorus (Walk into the alley) (Put out the cigarette that someone carelessly left on the sidewalk, right next to your left wingtip) (Hang your head down low) (Put your feet out slow) (There ya go)
