He was raised mostly by his grandmother who instilled hardwork and values in him. His first performance was at a family reunion showcase in 1995. This is when he knew music is what he wanted to accomplish in life. He finally found his passion. Before that he use to buy tapes and records and hide them so his mother and grandmother would'nt take them away. artist like 2pac, Jadakiss, T.I, and Usher has inspired him. The harsh reality of poverty has kept him determined to get out Flint. Inspite of his family nonsupport and disapproval, he has continued to work hard to prove everyone wrong that hasn't belived in him. The Captain began rapping in 1997. He went on to create his own record label, Audasity Records. The Captain created Audasity Records in 2000, while a sophomore in high school. He is the CEO also. Audasity has came a long way threw all the difficult times. Audasity currently has 3 artists under it’s belt YP, Shamia LuShae and Nfanet. The Captain is currently self managed and also a member of ASCAP publishing. He is very busy juggling his career, and his label. The Captain is a college student, attending school for business management.
