We recorded a 30 minute cassette tape of improvisational experimental music on christmas day of 2005 using a mic placed infront of the guitar amp, and a keyboard AV wired to the auxilary power of a record/cassette player.
We then removed the tape from there, because it couldn't be directly recorded to the computer because the mic we were using wouldn't reach the line in on the computer, put the tape into a fischer-price cassette player and put a mic in front of it's speaker then recorded that to the computer to make a digital copy.
We both took a digital copy of the entire tape and decided that, since it wasn't really able to stand up on it's own yet because we had run out of time to do what we had actually wanted, so we decided that we would each take it seperately and cut the sections we want from it and add whatever extra instrumentation/vocalization we felt the recording needed and then put both of our recordings out as a double album.
So techinically, this is Tenpenny Truepenny Remixes by Dr. Jarf and The Second Chance for Dinosaurs
