Story behind the song
In 1994, we made this track in the Theta Chi Fraternity Dormitory in the basement of the University of Washington on Greek Row http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=theta+chi+fraternity+uw Lot Bryan, A.K.A. Loot Money, proposed a secret operation in which Criminal Alliance members would take on new false identities in addition to the ones we were already using. For instance, Robert Taylor A.K.A. One Sir Grove of EVT, became Goldie LoCKs... "Cuz there aint too many niggas with blond hair and dreadlocks" ... Loot Money became 'Mean Dough Green' ... Sen became 'Cold Cash' ...mind you: Lot Bryan is a Puerto Rican Crip from Oceanside, California... Robert Taylor is a Piru from United Blood Nation (UBN) ...Sen is a Sureno from San Fernando Valley California ...of which they team up with other C.A. CRIMINAL ALLIANCE operators in the soundtrack to rob a strong box filled with mad loot. The safe is located at Virginia Market on 23rd and Virginia in Everett, Washington. For the mission of this fictional mission, GREENBACK CAPERS come through the store owners' tactical defense system blitzkrieg style. Nanino, DJ Slomo, Grove, Lot, Sen and others affiliated with C.A. worked on this instrumental to perfection. The static is intentional. Naturally, there is some degradation to the material because it's never been on CD until now and was sourced from one of few remaining cassette tapes. By the way... and for the record... collectors be on alert as somewhere there exists a "Shadow Man" track from the Greenback Capers Operation dating back to 1994/1995. If you find it... it's worth some dough. Pun intended.
Lyrics
...snatchin' 40s of Idis [code name for St. Ides] God. I hated that sh*t. Old Gold was the drink.
