MAX CARTEL was born in the late summer of 1985 in Ft. lauderdale, FL. He was raised all over Miami-Dade County in South Florida since birth. "I lived in some of the realist hoods in Dade, fool...Carol City, Liberty City, Brown Subs, Opa-locka, Lil' Haiti, Overtown. It wasn't no sunny beaches and models in my hood. Just dopeboys, murders, and fiends. You know straight up hood shit", says Max Cartel of his childhood in those neighborhoods. MC and his mother(a single parent) along with his older brother, finally settled in the area known as "Carol City(in the North West area of Dade County)",which was once a middle-class town but has transformed into a drug-ridden place since the late 1980's. This type of environment has molded MC into the street lyricists he is today with sharp wordplay & crafty punchlines. His love of music, began after he was introduced to the sounds of "ICE CUBE, EAZY-E, TOO SHORT, LUKE & THE 2LIVE CREW, 2PAC, UGK, 8BALL & MJG, SCARFACE" at the young age of seven years old. Years later, he is burning up traccs & pushing his own name in the rap game...
