Story behind the song
This song was inspired by the subject on domestic violence. From 25 to 31 percent of American women report being physically or sexually abused by a husband or boyfriend at some point in their lives and from 3 million to 10 million children witness that abuse each year. Men alike are abused as well from women in domestic violence. It was performed live for the first time at Toma Esperanza in Highland Park, CA by Botany Irie with Ambar and Lioness at an event hosted by Cihuatl Tonali. With a touch of reggae influence, "Stop Fighting" will be released in 2006 and is currently under construction.
