Lyrics
Verse 1 Peer inside a mother's heart whose just lost her child She's so confused and doesn't know what to do. Become that man who thinks he's had his fill (he doesn't wanna live on) of his life it seems, has been to hard to believe. Pre-Chorus All ups and downs become the mysteries of life. But you have to promise me that you'll hold on so tight. Chorus There are kind people who will show you love. We'll find a way, to make a bright day. Do you realize you are God's love child? Just hold on tight - with all your might. Verse 2 Step into the shoes of a boy whose father's left. No one there (to teach him how to be a man) to teach so his father's life he repeats. See the homeless girl whose has been torn and abused(torn and abused) We shake our heads and sigh (she cries), but then we'll walk right on by. Pre-Chorus Ways of this world seems like it tears us down. But you have to promise me (ewwwwww) that youll hold on so tight! Chorus There are kind people who will show you love. Well find a way (yes we will find a way) to make a brighter day (to make a brighter day) Do you realize you are Gods love child? (you are Gods love child) Just hold on tight, with all your might. Talk See I believe God, in all His infinite wisdom, places His strength in us and through others to hold on, one day at a time. Chorus There are kind (there are kind people) people who will show (who will show you love) you love. Well find a way (we will find a way) to make a brighter day. Do you realize you are Gods love child? (cause you are Gods love child) Just hold on tight (you have to hold on tight) with all your might. Just realize that you are Gods love child! Please hold on tight with all your might!
