Story behind the song
A co-worker went to see the “Blue Man Group” live in concert a while back and he was blown away. I never had another opportunity to see or hear them again until just yesterday. I was roaming the aisle of Circuit City and when I walked into the speaker room just to check thing out the salesman was starting up a DVD of the “Blue Man Group” in concert. I was fascinated with their showmanship and performance. It looked like a really great show. I watched a few songs and thought to myself it was cool to see a musical group that didn’t have a designed vocalist or single front man. Seeing an instrumental group like that was inspiring. This tune was influenced by that DVD concert experience. Although it isn’t “Blue Man Group” quality - I hope it’s just as fun. Give it a listen and see what you think. I am still trying to get a feel for key changes and working them into my specific kind of music. I hope you like it. If you like instrumental and heavy percussion 2 shows that I would definitely recommend would be “Blue Man Group” and “Stomp”
