** To purchase Julie's debut album: Julie Layne Bloeth is a composer. lyricist and vocalist. She describes her style as eclectic. Combining Country, Folk, Adult Contemporary and Singer-Songwriter, she's created a genre all her own. She draws from world events, her own experiences and those of the people she meets to create her unique songs and acoustic sound. "While it's difficult to put yourself 'out there,' you reach a point in your life where you can either share what you've learned or hide behind wishful thinking. My father once said to me "...leave the past where it belongs... we're all the sum of our experiences." My parents have shared their wisdom with me and I hope they'll be proud to know I've learned so much from them. My music is the sum of my experiences, and if I touch just one person with it, I've done what I've set out to do." Julie's debut album, entitled "Some Days" is currently available for sale! Lyrics
Words: Sean Kealy (ASCAP) Music & Vocals: Julie Layne Bloeth (ASCAP) Sounds From The Hound Publishing (BMI) © 2005 Recorded and Produced by Steven Cooper Turn off the TV And turn down the lights This is the heartache That comes with the night No answers, no wisdom No understanding why Just a heartbroken girl On the edge of goodbye (Chorus) On a lonely night at half past three It's just the stars, some tears and me All of us falling, none asleep The disappointment runs too deep He closed the door, I lost the key Now, it's just the stars, some tears and me Brokenhearted moon And curtains drawn tight Whisper the message I'm losing the fight No answers, no wisdom No chance to make it right Just a heartbroken girl In the still of the night (Repeat Chorus) (Bridge) Destiny turns on a dime Life becomes an uphill climb Wounded by the hands of time And the power of love... The power of love (Repeat Chorus)
