Satirical radio show based on the madcap events at an Internet-based racing league
Saturday Night Fish is a satirical radio show based on events at the FiHSf1.net Internet-based racing league. There. That should have lost most of our potential worldwide audience. Now we're finally alone. And let me just say you look lovely by cathode ray tube. Saturday Night Fish, or "SNF" as it has become known by those it has scarred, is presented by two wonderful ape descendants who will be known as Last_Place and Mrs. Last_Place. "The secret to a successful marriage," they say, "is venting and sarcasm. The more hurtful you can make it, the healthier it is." Some would say that SNF is merely an extension of their formula for happiness. The "FiHS" itself is a strange and amazing community of Mario Andretti wannabees who engage in highly competitive computerised races via the Internet. They train all week long to be the top dog, then all but one of them spends the next week explaining why they were cheated out of victory. Like the Universe, the FiHS should not exist, and it would be so much easier for scientists if it didn't. But community is a more powerful force than physics, and despite killing each other on virtual racetracks many times over, its members have remained friends. And like the duckbilled platipus, this has got scientists completely stumped. SNF owes its format to the brainchild of a man called Stephen Fry, who created a series for BBC Radio in the 1980s called Saturday Night Fry. Stephen, if you are reading (or perhaps your lawyer forwarded you our URL) there is no one who can fill your trousers. We have that on good authority.

Story behind the song
Original text introduction to this episode: Two days late, but importantly, Under Budget. Avoiding the domain poachers for one more championship round, we bring you SNF #10, specially recorded on magnetised rolls of Walmart toilet paper for twice the ply at half the price. We are so confident that we are the cheapest comedy segment in Formula One that if you find a cheaper comedy segment within five miles we will give you a free plunger. Put your ears to your 3" cones, turn up the treble and marvel at our ability to read and speak at the same time. If this were any easier, it would have traction control.
