Blakkstorm is a one-man black metal project, done with very raw guitar recording and keyboard, with percussion and background sounds made on FruityLoops. The music is meant to convey images of the cold and harsh North Ontario winter, thus the album name Pale Boreal Wastelands.

Burnt Fields of Battle Staring out upon the charred and blackened fields of war While longboats from the North speed headlong to the shore Alone he stands, upon a hill, beside his crest To kill the horde of ignorance come from the west The mighty fleet is close, but foes close in He fears his life may end 'ere the fight begins The swarms of Hvitekrist's slaves crowd around his rise He looks out at the sun, he sees the ravens fly!
