Lyrics
The Band Plays On I can't believe the things I see, I can't believe the things I hear I only know for certain that it hurts me I know people everywhere don't even have a dime to spare What in the world are we going to do now? And the band plays on and on! Tired children cannot sleep Pray the lord their soul to keep Where in the world are we going to? Flying bullets rip the sky, Babies hungry and mamma's high What in the world has happened to us now? And the band plays on and on!
