just an insignificant little side project of my own, aside from the rid's collaborative efforts. didn't want to selfishly clutter up the band page, so i decided to put all my individual stuff here instead.

Story behind the song
i was still heartbroken after thanksgiving. ha.
Lyrics
the silence of the aftermath slowly penetrates you'd think that you'd get used to it, but your will simply precipitates the photos, gifts, & belongings those crazy songs you used to sing they all seem oddly out of place you thought you'd changed, if for a bit well, this is what you're left with so wipe the salt & water off your face and stop being so emo[tionally pathetic] just take some advil to get rid of your heartache you yearn for warmth in a numbing night and all you could find are your pillows you know you look a ghastly sight but it can't be helped this pain is just not meant to be mellow but stop being so emo[tionally pathetic] just go to sleep and stop imagining the stuff that make you sick you can't stop looking for her face and feel your heart begin to race only to stop abruptly in disappointment when you realize she's not any where close the dreams, or are they nightmares? of her content expression when she walks away with the love of her life and you wake up please put away that xacto knife stop pitying yourself even if your mind could never come back if she's happy with somebody else then let her go, and pig out on her free snacks and stop those horrid tears from coming, from dropping just open up your winamp and play the crazy songs you used to sing
