Six Ways From Sunday is a four- piece original rock band hailing from East Central Mississippi. Formed in 2002, the band focused immediately on writing and performing their own material. 6WFS has been likened to a mixture of Seattle grunge, New Jersey folk rock, and classic and contemporary rock music often going into extended musical breaks in their live shows. The various influences come together to form a sound that is both angry and lonely at times yet also peaceful and soulful. The band’s first independently released E.P. entitled Balcony Open Daily (no longer available) and it’s bootlegged copies have circulated around the region and found them building a small cult following throughout Mississippi and Texas. An online presence has brought 6WFS fans from all over the United States and overseas. Not that any of that matters. We broke up 6 months ago.
