...Strange infatuations...
Shall that be all to be said?
I am a simple musician finding ways to be heard...so here is the first, maybe first of concern. If anything I hate the bland monotony of some of the popular bands' lyrics and even music...so I tend to attempt to redefine what is to be heard.
Story behind the song
"Strange Infatuations" serves most the story of fiction, a description. What motivated me to write this, is that very thing. In a sense, it what attracts my attention; the shadowed eyes, pale skin, and image doused in shadows alone...yet not my heart. I can't look away, but I won't hold on...never hold on. That phase, as it simply is, has passed me by...but those chains that stretch eye-to-eye...and to nothing else, still tease me.
NOTE: I'll clarify the lyrics sung in the song later, so just look at the ones given if it's all in your interest. I can make the strings of my guitar bend and pan to my might, but these strings at throat I've held since birth can be just a bit stubborn.
Lyrics
Goth Queen
Peril in the eyes,
Tragedy at the heart.
The daring pulse in surprise,
Makes me fall apart.
For her, I mend like puddy.
I’ll bend to anything-
To make her smile.
Though somehow,
It flows like honey-
Strange thoughts…all the while.
Come back to me…my,
Little Goth queen.
In everything…I,
Can’t look away?
You pull me with your gaze,
The shackles and chains grip
Eye to eye.
Yet in my lovesick ways,
I’m caught…
I can’t turn away.
So the story goes,
I’m a fool for anything she does.
And like so, she knows.
How it makes her smile inside.
Though it seems…
I’ll never wake up,
All the hopes peirce me in denial.
Yet I feel…
She likes it such,
How she inflicts the pain…
Come back to me…my,
Little Goth queen.
In everything…I,
Can’t look away?
You pull me with your gaze,
The shackles and chains grip
Eye to eye.
Yet in my lovesick ways,
I’m caught…
I can’t turn away.

‘til it ends
How it should…
Or shouldn’t)
