Incredible instrumental piano music by Josh Brahm! He also records with guitar, bass and drums.
My name is Josh Brahm, I'm 21 and I've been playing music for 17 years. I play piano, guitars, bass and drums, so I usually record my music alone in my home studio. Most of my music is inspired by love and friendship, and the memories I have of growing up.

Story behind the song
I wrote this about a friend of mine in CA who got mono right as her family had to move within 2 months. We are really good friends, and I felt really bad about not being able to help since I live in GA. I was asking her if there was anything I could do to help, and she jokingly said “I don’t know. Write me a song.” And I thought, Yeah! So I asked her what key she wanted it in, and she said G, cause a pro-life song I had recorded for her earlier in the year was in G. A few hours later, I heard this melody in my head, but I didn’t want to play it until I recorded it. So I grabbed some paper and a pen, and quickly started writing what was in my head. 2 pages of sheet music later, I had the whole thing written out, except for the key change at the end. A few days later I went to church to record it, and played it for the first time. Almost everything on the papers from before were perfect, and a few minor changes were all I had to make. The first theme is about her, and our friendship, and all the fun things we did together as friends. The sad part in the middle is about her having to move and everything happening at once. When the sad part gets all quiet, you can hear hints from the songs “Only Hope” and “Smooth” because those were 2 songs we played together a lot when I lived in CA. When we were very young, we sang songs from the movie “Lion King” together, and one of our favorites was “I just can’t wait to be king.” Thus the instrument playing the melody through most of the song is a pan flute similar to the flute in that song. When the main theme comes back it transposes up a key because we will always be friends, and if the past has already been this great, I can’t imagine how wonderful the future will be.
