Story behind the song

Gods love for the brokenhearted, which probably to some degree is all of us. I write a lot of praise and worship songs, this one I wrote the music for after my Dad died, then wrote the lyrics many years later. I was trying to get away fromthe "christianease" that we typically  speak or write with, and trying to use language a little closer to where we all live.
