Story behind the song

This one takes place in a far off city, maybe somewhere in Europe. It's a misty February night, not that warm yet, but not as bitter as January. There's a man in a long coat sitting motionless on a bench. A single car goes by which gives off just enough light to see the man's dark profile. After a time he silently gets up and starts down a deserted street. The only signs of life are distant cars. He enters what looks like a pet store. There are a number of cells against the walls, inside which are what apear to be aliens: almost human in apearance, but something you can't put your finger on. He chooses the one in the back, puts it in a carier, and is on his way home now. He's the only one on the train, and beside him is his new friend. Finally, the train makes it to the station...it is now about midnight, now the 2 embark on a long car ride through the woods to the old man's house.  They enter his home, lets the pet out of the cage, and the two spend the rest of the evening eating each other until there is just no skin left. The alien has a very thin muscle layer around his midsection and you can make out a few organs here and there. Somebody knocks on the front door loudly--they both turn to it with a look of horror...
