It’s ironic that this tune has had many incarnations - and the final theme that came to me was about ‘Spirit Guides’.

Story behind the song
I’ve always been fascinated with the concept of ‘Spirit Guides’ in the form of animals. I’ve always fancied the Leopard as mine. I love the sleek look and those spots. I just seem to have a natural interest in them - up in trees and chasing prey across the open field. I like Native American flutes and especially their percussion interments - particularly their very creative and fascinating shakers. I wanted this tune to reflect a moment of discovery - a moment when the mind is open and the spirit guide approaches and lets itself be seen, maybe even touched. Sharing an adventure through it’s eyes and arousing your spirit with new perspective and a relationship with nature you never considered before. Invigorating your outlook on life as something larger than yourself. Nature is a part of us even if we go on with our lives taking nature for granted or ignoring it until it encroaches upon us with bears in our trash cans or raiding campsites. Crickets that sing in the night. Spiders that make webs on our porches. Tiny Lizards that live in our potted plants. The jungle - the forest - so full of life... We only see the small circles that we make in our daily lives - are we better, or are we missing something? Slaves of technology - freedom is behind you, where are you going now?
