Sunday Drive Formed June 2005, the band is composed of Ryan Paumboy, Edwin “Puto” Legaspi, Melvin “Brownies” Tabanan, Hamilton Legaspi, and Jojo De Guzman. All haling from Cavite. Plays Alternative Pop Rock music with a touch of ballad in the lyrics. After having one compilation and a solo album. Brothers Edwin and Hamilton Legaspi decided to form a new band producing a new kind of music. One which they think would fall for the masses and still keep their touches to the beat, chords and melodies. They started looking for other to-be members for their so called band. they called Melvin Tabanan, a common friend who a few years ago was active in the underground music. He referred another former band mate, Jojo De Guzman, who then had just arrived from UAE. The four collaborated on their music. Creating and recording samples and bringing different dimensions and aspect to the music they wanted. The four brought their music to Ryan singer, guitarist and a composer. Who recently just broke up with his band. Ryan who went for the states to work and lived with his parents and other relatives a few years ago went back here in the Philippines to concentrate and pursue his career in music. They carefully blended their crafts and produced songs such as “Sayang Lang”, Take Me” , and “As Heaven Cries”. These are all included in their demo cd. More of their songs are now ready for recording.
