Villi have lacteals that absorb digested fat
It goes straight into the lymphatic system, that
will drain into the circulatory
system, and then the rest is history
The intestinal glands produce enterokinase
Trypsinogen to trypsin, a wonderful kinase
Tight junctions are used to hold cells together
Making sure there is no leakage whatsoever
Chylomicron, a huge lipoprotein particle
Moves lipids to adipose tissue, oh how radical
Released into lacteals, created by absorptive cell
Secreted into the bloodstream, isn¡¯t that just swell?
