Projekt 2501 is from Philadelphia, PA. The group of Frank Miller, Lauren Zeuner and Wolf Loetsch creates music that invokes the inner self. In a world of nothing left to believe in, P2501 shows an escape through hard beats and open opinion. Everything you see is not as it seems, and you know it. Biography: Wolf Loetsch was born in 1977 in the communist part of Germany. He spent most of his life in East Germany going to various schools, also 10 years music school where he played various instruments. After Germany was reunited he had the chance to go to other countries. He did so in 2001 where he paid the US a visit. Now living in the Philadelphia area since 2002 and he decided to stay. Soon starting to go to clubs where his favorite industrial music got played he met Frank Miller. Understanding each other very quickly and soon becoming best friends, both shared the love for the same kind of music and wanted to create their own sound. As a result, "Projekt2501" was born. Lauren Zeuner was born and raised in the small town of Riverside located in Southern New Jersey in 1983. Both of her parents are elementary music teachers in New Jersey and have had a huge impact on her musical background throughout her life. While growing up, her house was usually filled with jazz and classical music, which Lauren later grew to respect and love. She was also taught, mostly by her mother, to play the piano from age 5 to about age 13. Since then she has been playing on her own, mostly by ear as well as composing her own music. During her years in grade school, Lauren was very involved in the arts. She was part of the drama club and also took acting lessons at the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia and The Actor’s Training Studio in Haddonfield, NJ. She was also involved in chorus and the concert, jazz and marching bands at Riverside in which she played the saxophone, keyboard and bass guitar. This helped her learn to read music, sight-read and play by ear. In high school she picked up the guitar and was involved in two rock bands. During this time she also spent a lot of time with her best friend Justine and Justine’s boyfriend at the time, who introduced the two of them to industrial/ebm music, which neither of them have heard before. Lauren fell in love immediately with this genre of music and the scene itself, especially because it helped her through the hard times of her parents divorce when she was a senior in high school. After graduating from high school in 2002, Lauren went to college at Drexel University and majored in Music Industry where she learned about digital audio and continued to take guitar, violin and piano lessons. In April of 2004 she formally met Frank Miller and Wolf Loetsch, whom she had seen many times at the local industrial/ebm club night in Philadelphia. Lauren and Frank then began dating and after they realized each other’s musical talents, Lauren joined Frank and Wolf as the third member of Projekt 2501. Unfortunately, Lauren felt that as much as she loved music, she was not getting what she wanted out of the Music Industry major at Drexel and also wanted to attend college for something that would give her more of a stable career. Knowing that she could always make music regardless of her college major, she decided to enroll in classes at Temple University Ambler, which she currently attends, and is now majoring in Early Education. Frank Miller was born in 1976 in Philadelphia, PA. Music was his passion for all his life. Then right out of high school he started his own DJ company and traveled much of the time. He returned to Philadelphia and was involved heavily in the gothic and industrial scene. Being associated with many club nights and various shows, he was constantly involved in the genre. A insightful DJ (DJ Corrupted Bios) and true supporter of the underground scene, he decided it was time to take next step. Along with Wolf Loetsch they combined their efforts and minds to create what you know as Projekt 2501. The meaning of the name "Projekt2501": The name is originally out of a very famous japanese anime movie. "Ghost in the shell". Project 2501 there is a codename for an industrial espionage program, which is highly advanced and as everything is connected in the world wide web, (like neurons are connected in the brain) the program becomes self aware. As said in the movie:"...created in the sea of information", our music-group "Projekt2501" is the result of what we see and hear, what we experience and think about the things, actions and people in daily life...and life itself...and how we deal with it. "Ghost in the Shell".

Lyrics
You'll try to ease my fear but you won't I'll try to make you see but you won't ever again There's nothing more that you can say to me about it I've tried my hardest to keep moving on without this But every time I'm walking next to you you're running And every single time I turn around you're leaving again There's no need to explain your reasoning Why can't you please just stop screaming I don't know why I even try to make any sense of this There's something pushing me and telling me to break this There's nothing more that you can ask of me I'm finished I'll try my hardest to keep moving on In spite of this But every time I'm walking next to you You're running And every single time I turn around You're leaving Again
