Simple and yet resounding folk tunes with subtle themes of peace and understanding.
Philosophy in its simplest form. Influence doesn't happen with guns blazing, but instead with a smile and a tune. My goal is not only to express myself with music, but also to connect with people while performing it. By the way, if you choose to hear any of my songs, be kind and drop a line at the message board with comments (good or bad).

Lyrics
Javier Smith Disordia: Land of Disorders (Rapunzel parody) Once upon a time, in a land called Disordia, there was a knight who didn’t really fit in with his fellow warriors. While they all stood tall and strong and marched in line, he hurried tried to keep up with them while tripping in his own feet. His armor was too heavy for him to keep a steady stride. Not only that, all of his peers had beautiful maidens waiting for them at home, but for our hero (whose name is Luigi) girls were just about as scary as any dragon he’d ever faced. “I know what will help you win a mate,” his knight friend Marcos said once, “get yourself a gallant stallion and rid yourself of that flea-infested hide of a corpse you carry around with you.” Marcos was referring to Luigi’s donkey friend Chalupa, who was way past his expected age and was quickly wearing out. But there was such a strong bond between Luigi and Chalupa that Luigi just couldn’t see himself ever letting that poor donkey go. Chapter 2: One day, all of the knights met at the palace for an exclusive dinner with the king himself. Rumor had it that one knight would be chosen to go on a perilous journey into Mt. Paranoia. Luigi was sure he wouldn’t get picked, but was nervous nonetheless. He and Marcos were the first ones there. They were greeted by Queen Olivia C. Daisy. Marcos offered his hand to greet the royal lady, but she only shied away and repeatedly muttered the word “clean, clean, clean” until she was out of sight. The dinner was eventless, with very few words said. The king seemed more preoccupied with the mirror in front of him than on any of the soldiers there. After a couple of hours, the king looked sleepily to the armored men and said: “Luigi.” The crowd was stunned. There were even some outbursts of anger. But everyone who spoke out was quickly taken down to the dungeon to be tortured, so there was very little of that. Luigi walked close to his highness and said “Are you sure I’m the right person for the--” “Follow me!” The king said, paying no attention to the cowardly knight. Luigi followed him into an extravagantly lavished room. The king faced a gigantic mirror. He told Luigi to get out of the range of the mirror because he was distracting. The king repeatedly made funny faces at the mirror. “What disorder do you have, Luigi?” Luigi thought for a moment. “Uh…I’m not sure.” He responded. “Well you’ve got to have something. Everyone here in Disordia has something. My bitchy bitch of the west wife has OCD, I am a self-centered sociopath, and even your friend Marcos has disassociative disorder. What’s your problem? Are you scared of spiders, snakes, heights?” “I don’t really know…” “Ah, Luigi, you crack me up. You remind me of my son that I sold to slavery for better trade agreements.” “You did what?!” “The reason I called you here today, Luigi, is that my daughter’s acting like a spoiled brat. She won’t come down from her little tower cause she says she’s depressed. I told her hey, we all got problems, yet we still function, right? I’d let her stay up there and have her learn her lesson if it weren’t for that anal OCD freak that I call a wife nagging me all the time. So I remember you and my daughter were pretty close. Maybe you could talk her out of her little temper tantrum.” Luigi definitely remembered the king’s daughter. He had been friends with Rapunzel since childhood. They had talked of getting married and living happily ever after. When Rapunzel’s father saw her that happy, though, he decided it was time cut off their little romantic fling. But now Luigi had another chance to make it work between them. So he headed off with his friends Marcos and Chalupa to rescue her from the Depressed Tower of Dread atop Mt. Paranoia. The first couple of days weren’t anything special. They hiked up some, then ate food, then hiked up some more. But as they neared the middle of the mountain, Luigi began to hear strange things. The first of these was
