It's a ballad, really. About a couple breaking up.

I do what I do. I'm not confined to a genre. If it's country, great. Blues, awesome! Come-what-may it's all music and as long as it's good no one really cares.
"We" are actually only "me" right now. But I am an aspiring songwriter and would love to form/join a band. I mostly want to have fun making music. This really only serves as a place where I can showcase my music for others to hear. Enjoy.

Story behind the song
What inspired the point of the song? I don't know. I was just sitting in my room one night and I took a look out at the sky and I was picturing this couple at "their spot" but it's not a happy meeting like previous ones might have been and they both know it's over but neither one really wants to face what they know is coming.
Lyrics
Verse One: Don't say a word, not another word 'Cause I already know why you brought me here tonight The sun comes crashing down, the world stands still The clouds roll in and thunder cracks in the distance Chorus: And it rains on me And it rains on me Let it rain Verse Two: Oh to feel your arms wrapped around my neck I tell you that I love you but you don't say it back So hush, darling, hush, we both know what's next And I can feel the tears welling in my eyes Verse Three: Hold your breath and close your eyes The time has come to say goodbye But don't, no, no, don't you say the word Just kiss me one last time and walk away Verse Four: And as you fade into the night I can feel the walls come tumblin' down Broken and beaten and crushed I'm moving on but for tonight I'll let it rain
