Story behind the song
This song is my effort to be as shamelessly commercial as possible while allowing me and my friends the guilty pleasure of playing loud unihibited unabashed bombastic guitar-based hard rock. I studied my favorite songs by AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and Def Leppard and wrote some basic guitar riffs.
Lyrically, the song is semi-autobiographical and it's all about growing old, accepting one's station in life, believing the power of rock and roll and passing it on to the future through your kids.
