Dan: This song is very interesting. The original, basic electronic backbone of this song was created by Steve back in I believe 2002. In 2003, I had written a poem called "Fog" about a crazy adventure Steve and I had with our friend Chelsea. Drinking, evading police on foot... it was a night to remember. And then finally in 2004, I came across the old track and put the lyrics to it, added some instruments and there you have it.
Steve: This is a great example of taking a techno track where the files to edit it are long deleted and you have to try and write a song around the structure already laid out for you. The same holds true for creating the song Cell. The techno track is taken from my old solo stuff I was doing back in high school. I'm glad we were able to use it create something so unique.
